Solovyov Aleksandr Aleksandrovich, born 01.02.1970.

Graduated from Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, majoring in “Selection and genetics of agricultural crops”, in 1993.

Later, he taught and headed the Department of Genetics, Biotechnology, Selection and Seed Production (2007-2017), the Faculty of Agronomy and Biotechnology (2016-2018) of Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy.

From 2018 to 2023, he was Deputy Director of All-Russian Research Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology (FBNU VNIISB) for scientific activities and head of the Laboratory of Marker and Genomic Plant Selection.

Since 2018, Professor of the Genetics Department at Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Doctor of Advanced Studies in Biology, Professor, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
