В результате проведенного исследования личинок, собранных с посадочного материала фотинии из Италии, а также изучения литературных данных подтверждена возможность идентификации вида на стадии личинки. Выделены основные морфологические характеристики вида и представлены фотографии основных диагностических признаков. Помимо признаков, указанных в диагностическом ключе Фирбергена с соавторами, были выявлены и другие морфологические особенности вида, такие как колоколовидные сенсиллы на X тергите брюшка и воронковидные щетинки на II членике усиков. Однако, эти данные требуют дополнения и уточнения, поскольку без наличия достаточного количества сравнительного материала невозможно оценить, насколько эти признаки изменяются внутри вида и рода.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The study of external morphology of the second-instar larvae of chilli thrips Scirtothrips dorsalis Hood (Thysanoptera, Thripidae) is presented. As a result of the study of the larvae collected from photinia plants for planting from Italy, as well as the study of research papers, the possibility of identification at the larval stage has been confirmed. The main morphological characteristics of the species have been identified and photographs of the main diagnostic characteristics are presented. In addition to the characteristics indicated in the diagnostic key of Vierbergen et al., other morphological peculiarities of the species have been identified, such as campaniform sensilla on the X abdomen tergite and sense cones on the II segment of antennae.
