Местные энтомофаги не могут эффективно регулировать ее численность, поэтому интродукция ее специализированного паразитоида Torymus sinensis, основанная на опыте многих стран, является единственной возможностью быстро снизить численность вредителя и предотвратить дальнейшее ухудшение состояния каштана. Проведен анализ экологического риска завоза нового энтомофага и показано, что его интродукция не имеет сколько-нибудь заметных рисков для естественных лесных сообществ.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>After the introduction into Russia, the oriental chestnut gall wasp has spread in all growing areas of sweet chestnut and started to cause damage. Local entomophages are unable to regulate its numbers effectively, so the introduction of its specialized parasitoid Torymus sinensis, based on the experience of many countries, is the only way to quickly reduce the number of pests and prevent further deterioration of chestnut.
